What we collect
Account information (your email and password, handled by our authentication provider), the athlete profile you create (name, grad year, school, measurables, GPA, film link, contact details), your drive chart and contact history, and payment records processed by Stripe. We do not see or store card numbers — Stripe handles payment details directly.
How we use it
To run the product: filling your templates, tracking your outreach, showing your drive chart, and sending account emails (receipts, password resets). We do not sell your information, and we never share the athlete profile with anyone unless you switch sharing on yourself — outreach happens from your own email address, on your initiative, and OfferPath is never the sender.
Sharing you turn on yourself
Two things in the product share data, and both are off until you turn them on from your own account.
A coach at your school can be given access to your board, and a recruiting service that paid for your seatcan be given the same. Either one sees the programs we recommend for you, which of those you have contacted, when, by what method, whether a program replied, and where each school sits on your chart. Neither ever sees what you wrote in an email, the coaches' contact details, your notes, or your account.
If the athlete is under 18, that switch is for a parent or guardian, and the exact wording agreed to is recorded with the date. You can turn it off at any time, in one tap, from the same screen. We do not notify anyone when you do, and turning it off stops the sharing immediately. Nobody at OfferPath can turn it on for you.
Athletes and minors
Accounts are held by adults; athlete profiles typically describe minors and are entered by a parent or guardian. We treat athlete profile data as private to the account: it is never published, listed, or made searchable, and it is used only to fill the account's own templates and pages.
Coach information
The coach directory consists of professional contact information (name, title, work email, public social handle) collected from colleges' official public staff pages — the same information those institutions publish for recruiting contact purposes. A coach or athletic department that wants a record corrected or removed can email us and we will handle it promptly.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Connecting your Gmail account (optional)
Gmail Connect is an optional feature. If you choose to connect the athlete's Gmail account, we use Google's Gmail API to read message metadata only — sender address, recipient, date, and message ID. We never access message bodies, attachments, or your contacts.
We use this metadata for exactly one purpose: matching sender addresses against our college-coach directory so that when a coach replies to your outreach, your drive chart advances automatically. When we find a match, we store the resulting event — which coach replied, and when. We do not store the metadata itself, and no one at OfferPath reads it; the matching is fully automated.
You can disconnect Gmail at any time from your account page or from your Google Account security settings. Disconnecting deletes the stored access credentials immediately; reply events already recorded on your drive chart remain, since they're part of your own outreach history.
OfferPath's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the feature (our infrastructure providers listed above) or as required by law.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays in your account for as long as you keep it. Email support@offerpath.org to request deletion of your account and its data, and we will remove it, keeping only what payment and tax law requires us to retain.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date. Questions: support@offerpath.org.
